Introducing the EP Drive V4...

 

Simply put, I love this pedal.  Yes I love all my pedals, but this has a special place in my heart.  It has become so much better than I could have hoped for and I really can't wait for you folks to try it.

 

The sound is complex and alive, giving this dimension that creates the sound I was hearing in my head.

 

The circuit has been updated to incorporate the drive side and preamp side of the old Ep Drive and mix it into one.  It simultaneously simplified it, and made it more versitile.  

 

You still can get the amazing sparkle and tone shaping like you would from an Echoplex preamp, but you also get to dial in the perfect amount of gain and overdrive for your rig.

 

Features:

 

• High quality Burr Brown opamp for increased clarity.
• Overdrive derived from assymetrical soft clipping, MOSFET drive as well as JFET drive resulting in an organic mix that is both heard and felt
• Relay bypass switching (traditional foot switch mixed with silent relay circuit switching)
• "Lo" toggle switch for low end shaping.  Can cut or boost to match any rig
• "Resp" toggle switch for MOSFET drive response. Driving the MOSFET gives more bite and grit, think Tweed vs BF
• Can be run between 9-18v.  18v will result in more headroom and cleaner operation, great for clean boost
• Top mounted Neutrik-Rean jacks
• Standard 2.1mm Boss style power jack, negative tip
• Gorva enclosure
